  1. Read the Requirements to ensure that you qualify.
  2. Complete and submit the Scholarship Application form and all required supplemental materials. Applications will be available and accepted beginning December 1, 2008 and must be postmarked no later than February 28, 2009.

application form

To report your ACT/SAT I scores, be sure to fill in code 9937 for the Gordon A. Rich Scholarship Program. If you submit scores from an earlier admission of the ACT or SAT I, complete an Additional Report Request Form (ARRF), available at your high school. Fill in code number 9937 for the Gordon A. Rich Scholarship Program and send the form with the appropriate fee to the appropriate address. Requests to submit ACT or SAT I scores through an ARRF should be made before November 30.

If the above instructions are not followed accurately, the scores will not be released,
and the applicant will be declared ineligible for the scholarship program.

Test scores can also be provided by the school official completing the Transcript Information section of the application. If you choose this method, we require that the test scores provided are from a single administration of the ACT or SAT I. Mixing test scores from multiple dates is not allowed. For example, if a student took the SAT I in October and received a score of 1000 (600 verbal, 400 math), then tested again in November and received an 1150 (550 verbal, 600 math), the school official is not permitted to submit the best scores from each test administration; rather, they should submit the results for the test administration that produced the highest combined/composite score.
