How to Apply

Applications on paper will no longer be accepted. To apply for this scholarship, please do the following:

  1. Read the Requirements to ensure that you qualify.
  2. Complete and submit the Scholarship Application form and all required supplemental materials. Applications will be available and accepted beginning September 15th and must be submitted no later than February 16th. Any students that have limited computer access may contact on or before February 1st.
  3. Taking the ACT and/or SAT and providing test scores is optional. Submitted scores will be taken into consideration during the selection process.

The application and all supporting materials must be submitted to Scholarship America no later than February 16th to receive consideration.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE 2023 SCHOOL YEAR. College scholarship money is available to offspring of those working in the financial services industry. Each GAR scholarship is worth up to $50,000 (approx. $12,500 per year) awarded to bright, hardworking high school seniors who have a financial need.
Please read the requirements and fill out an application form. The Gordon Rich Foundation provided $236,000 in college scholarships last year. We currently support 33 students in colleges across the country and have 67 alumni. Any questions please email
